Guidelines for Participation:

• Choir participation is completely voluntary; there are no paid positions.

• We are looking for choral singers not solo singers.

• You must be 18 years or older to participate.

• The choir will be a SATB mix. You can only register in one vocal category.

• There will be 50 total members selected.

• We will take the first 50 auditionees to register in each vocal part - 200 total auditionees.

• Once we have reached 50 applicants in each vocal part, registration will be closed.

• Registration for auditions will begin on Monday, August 15th and will end on Monday, September 12th.

• EDG will contact the auditionees the week of September 19th to schedule/assign  appointment/audition times.

• Auditionees will be randomly assigned to a SATB quartet for the audition. 

• Choir will perform one number, “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” and sing on the "O Holy Night" finale for the televised broadcast on WSB-TV

In order to participate in the Macy’s All Star Holiday Choir you MUST be available for ALL of the following dates:

1. Audition: Saturday, October 6^st

2. Rehearsal: Friday, November 9^th and 10^th

3. Dress Rehearsal: Wednesday, November 21^st, 7:00pm-10:30pm

4. The 60^th Lighting of the Great Tree at Macy’s Show, Thanksgiving night, Thursday November 22^nd:  5:00pm- 8:30pm
