Entertainment Design Group, Inc. (EDG) is an Atlanta-based Scenic and Special Events Company.  We were privileged to be the vendor for many of the celebratory items used during the Red Carpet Launch Grand Openings of some 400 stores nationwide in September, 2006.

EDG has established the website www.MacysSpecialEvents.com specifically and exclusively for the use of Macy's stores and associates.  At this website you can see and purchase many of the unique and exciting products which were custom designed and created for Macy’s Special Events.  They include custom carpet runners, 3-D Macy's stars, and custom Macy's balloons and ribbons.  In addition, you can purchase some of those other often needed items such as rope and stanchions and gaffers tape (in a variety of hard to find colors).

 Special packages correlate to the 2006 Red Carpet Launch packages.  Deluxe Packages were the “A” Packages provided to the flagship stores, while the Standard, or “B” Packages were the standard for most of the store celebrations.  Each item in the package can be purchased individually, but there is significant savings in purchasing one or more of the packages, as EDG will provide shipping at NO COST for full Package purchases.

 Sales tax must be added to all prices quoted, as we have a Macy’s where we live too!
